The kick-off Bedroom Door event will be at my neighborhood Barnes and Noble, on 82nd and Broadway. Right by Zabars and Harry's Shoes. January 15th, at 7 PM. For 20 years, I've shopped in that bookstore, peered in the window at the displays and the posters, and imagined what it would be like to have a book of my own there. Now it's about to happen and I intend to tackle it with sexpertise (if that's not a word, it should be). What that means to me is to tackle the subject with openness and a sense of humor and empathy. Because don't we all feel a little vulnerable when it comes to sex?
